Mallika Sherawat to be arrested for vulgar dance?
Vadodara, July 9: Bollywood item girl-turned-actress Mallika Sherawat may face serious legal trouble as arrest warrant has been issued against her.
A bailable warrant has been issued by Vadodara district court in Gujarat. The actress was accused of performing a vulgar, obscene dance during New Year party in 2006.
Sherawat was asked to appear before the court on Aug 19. The bailable warrant was issued when she failed to response to the previous court summon.

Narendra Tiwari, former president of the Baroda Bar Association, had filed the case seeking non-bailable warrant against Sherawat.
Tiwari reportedly watched Sherawat's performance on television channels. He made Sherawat and the five-star hotel management respondents in the case. The party, in which Sherawat allegedly had performed obscene dance, was held in the five-star hotel in Mumbai.
However, this was not the first time when Sherawat received court summons over the same performance. She earlier had moved Gujarat High Court seeking quashing of the summons but her plea was dismissed and she was asked to approach the lower court.
