Mumbai: 35th BMA Awards presented in glittering ceremony
Mumbai, July 8: The Bombay Management Association (BMA), which was established in 1954, held its 35th BMA Awards Ceremony 2012-2013 at the YB Chavan centre Mumbai on June 14, 2013.
BMA is one of the oldest Associations in the field of Management with over 3000 members. BMA conducts Managements Development Programmes, Seminars, Study Tours, Industrial Visits, etc.
BMA has trained 115 thousand Managers of The Indian Corporate world. The BMA Awards have become a landmark event in the management profession in Mumbai.

Speaking on the occasion, R Ramkrishnan President BMA and Vice Chairman, Jt Managing Director and Group CEO of Polycab Group said, "BMA has come a long way in its nearly 60 years journey, in serving the management movement in Mumbai and the western region."
"The BMA Awards recognize the finest practitioners of management and leadership across various categories. Indeed this event, has become a high point of recognition for business leaders, practicing managers, entrepreneurs as well as business schools, management teachers and managements students," he added.
Former Chairman of State Bank of India -- OP Bhatt, the Chief guest for the ceremony, spoke about the challenges and opportunities facing corporate India as well as the Indian economy.
Mr Bhatt also spoke of the need for concerted action by the government, policy makers as well as corporate leaders, in kick starting growth and reviving investments.
