Weatherman: Heavy rainfall expected in Gujarat

yesterday and more rain is expected in the next few days. Rainfall occurred at many places along the west coast and over Uttarakhand, Assam and Meghalaya, few places of Himachal Pradesh, East Rajasthan, West Bengal, Sikkim, and Odisha.

Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, East Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh remained dry.

Forecast in next three days

Heavy to very heavy rainfall likely to occur at one or two places over the Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, coastal Karnataka and Kerala during the next 72 hours. Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh are likely to witness the same during the next 48 hours.

Other places that are likely to get heavy rains include a few places in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, Konkan and Goa. Heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places over coastal Karnataka and ghat areas of South interior Karnataka, during the next 48 hours.
