Pak shocker: Girl's body dug out of grave and assaulted
Karachi, July 5: In a shocking incident in Pakistan's Punjab province, a girl's body has been assaulted by unidentified men. The incident created ruckus in the region as the family members of the deceased held protest march and demanded strong action against the culprit(s).
The deceased, who was studying in class VI, was electrocuted while taking bath in their residence which is located at Qila Dedar Singh. She was buried at a graveyard in Gujranwala district, about 80 kilometres from Lahore.
When her family members reached the graveyard to offer their prayers in the next morning, they found the body outside. Soon, the real story was unfolded.

Police officials rushed to the place where the grieving family members held a demonstration and blocked the road for several hours to protest against the desecration of the body.
Police began investigation into the case. They filed a case against unidentified men. The culprit(s), however, were absconding. Meanwhile, cops took the gravedigger into their custody.
