Earthquake strikes Indonesia's Sumatra Island

Indonesia, July 2: The US Geological Survey has reported a earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale in northern tip of Indonesia's Sumatra islands on Tuesday.

The US Geological dept. said that the earthquake experienced only for 10 km (6miles) deep and 188 km (116 miles) south east of Banda Aceh, Sumatra.

At least 50 people reported injured and but their was no tsunami warning.
