U'Khand flood: Sanjay Dutt saddened in jail, makes sacrifice
Pune, July 1: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who currently has been lodged in Yerwada Jail in Pune, made some sacrifices for the victims of Uttarakhand floods.
The actor reportedly asked his wife Manyata to organise a charity show instead of promoting his upcoming movie -- Policegiri.
Rahul Aggarwal, producer of the movie, was quoted as saying, "It's very touching that Sanjay actually decided to collect funds for these victims rather than promoting the movie in Dubai."

Aggarwal also added, "This is not the first time he has been involved in charity. During the tsunami too, Sanjay had raised about Rs 2 crores for the victims."
Sanjay Dutt's proposal to organise charity show surfaced following the news of Uttarakhand which has been shattered by heavy rains, floods and land slides. Many were killed, thousands of people have been misplaced.
Dutt was convicted in arms act in connection with Bombay blasts 1993 case. Of the total term of five years, Dutt has already served 18 months in jail two decades ago and the Supreme Court, in its order of March 21, asked him to serve another 42 months.
