K'taka: BJP leaders to meet today on BSY return

On this issue, a section of BJP leaders led by former Cheif minister D.V. Sadananda gowda, who wants B S Yeddyurappa back into the party, will meet BJP State President Pralhad Joshi in bangalore, on thursday to present the point of view.
B S Yeddyurappa who had parted his way from BJP and floated a new political party KJP in the last State assembly elections.
Gowda is likely to be accompanied by former speaker K G Bopaiah, former ministers Aravind Limbavali, Umesh Katti, Basavaraj Bommai and MLC G Madhusudan. These leaders had met at party MP D B Chandre Gowda's residence last week to discuss their plan of action to bring Yeddyurappa back to the party fold.
This group believes that the return of Yeddyurappa and subsequent merger of the KJP with the BJP would boost the party's prospects in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. The KJP had managed to secure 10 per cent of the votes in the Assembly polls within six months after being launched, they point out.
