BJP warns Congress for delay in creating Telangana in AP

Senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu cautioned Congress against playing with sentiments of people of Andhra Pradesh on the issue, while speaking to reporters here.
"Do not play with the sentiments of the people of Andhra Pradesh... You have already delayed it. You have promised the people in the election manifesto", he said and took exception to Congress leaving the vexed issue to its party President Sonia Gandhi.
Naidu, who hails from Andhra Pradesh and whose party also favours creation of Telangana, warned Congress that "this is going to boomerang on the party. You have to act in the creation of two states in Andhra Pradesh," he said.
The BJP leader lashed out at those who criticised the Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's visit to flood ravaged Uttarkhand and questioned the visit by Rahul Gandhi and other leaders.
He termed as "atrocious" Britain's move to execute a 3,000 UK pound bonds for those wishing to study in the UK.
