RSS chief to meet Advani

New Delhi, June 19: Days after he played a key role in stopping a sulking L.K. Advani from quitting key BJP posts, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat is to

the senior leader.

The meeting comes as the Bharatiya Janata Party faces turmoil, with key ally Janata Dal-United deserting it.

Advani, who played a key role in building the BJP, ast week resigned from all key posts after Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi was named to head the party's election campaign committee.

He took a u-turn after Bhagwat called and, according to sources, assured him that he will be consulted in all party decisions.

Bhagwat also met former BJP president Nitin Gadkari.
