Suicide: More shocking information about Jiah-Suraj revealed

Mumbai, June 12: Days after Jiah Khan's suicide at her Juhu apartment in Mumbai, more shocking information regarding her relationship with beau Suraj Pancholi have been revealed. According to Mumbai Police sources, many more letters, which were exchanged between the duo, were recovered.

The letters reportedly carried evidence about the relationship between the late actress and Suraj. 22-year-old Suraj, who has been remanded to police custody till June 13, is the son of Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi and Zareena Wahab.

Meanwhile, Jiah's mother Rabiya Khan, a former Bollywood starlet, claimed that Jiah and Suraj were in a live-in relationship for past one year. Rabiya also reportedly claimed that Suraj's last "break-up bouquet" and manhandling compelled Jiah to take the extreme step of killing herself.

Speaking about Rabiya's statement to the cops, one Mumbai Police official was quoted as saying, "In her statement, Jiah's mother Rabiya said Suraj had sent her a ‘break-up bouquet' after he terminated their relationship. He had also hit Jiah before breaking up and there were bruises on her chin and neck."

"These two things, Rabbiya said, were the triggers that led Jiah to commit suicide," added the official. 25-year-old Jiah was found dead in her Juhu residence in Mumbai on June 3. Her mother and sister were not present at the flat. Postmortem report said the young actress died due to hanging.

Suraj initially was questioned by Mumbai Police and was let off. However, when a six-page suicide note was found days after her suicide, Suraj landed in a serious legal trouble. The cops once again grilled him and later arrested him under Section 306 (abetment to commit suicide) of the Indian Penal Code.
