New Delhi, June 12: A day after withdrawing his resignation, veteran BJP leader L K Advani on Wednesday spoke to JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over the party's moving away from the NDA. According to reports, Advani during his conversation with Kumar over the phone, stressed the NDA's unity.

Earlier, reports said that the JD(U), one of the biggest allies in the NDA, were considering to withdraw from the alliance after the BJP made Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi the chief of the campaign committee for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. Nitish Kumar has been a strong critic of Modi and expressed his preference for a 'secular' prime ministerial candidate after the polls.
