Jiah Khan Suicide: Why is Amitabh Bachchan worried?

Mumbai, June 6: 25-year-old Jiah Khan committed suicide at her Juhu residence in Mumbai. Days after the shocking incident, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is still feeling shattered and "worried".

Expressing his opinion about Jiah's decision of killing herself, Big B was quoted as saying, "I am very sad and also worried. It feels strange to talk about it. Sometimes there are situations when someone gets sad and depressed."

"They come with dreams and when it is not fulfilled, they give up. I want to say that to end your life like this is not good. I am deeply upset with what has happened with Jiah Khan," he added.

The senior Bachchan earlier had tweeted, "WHAT ...!!! Jiah Khan ??? what has happened ? is this correct ? unbelievable !!!"

"Disturbed and debating with my mind, what makes the young wanting to end a beautiful life !!" Big B added while showing his concern for young generation on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Jiah, who had worked with Big B in her first film Nishabd, killed self allegedly over a failed relationship with boyfriend Suraj Pancholi. Suraj is the son of Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi.

Jiah was found dead in her Juhu residence in Mumbai on Monday. Her mother and sister were not present at the flat. Postmortem report said the young actress died due to hanging.

Jiah's mother Rabia Khan, a former starlet, however, said that Jiah was upset and depressed over her career. Her last rites were performed on Wednesday. She was buried in the Santa Cruz graveyard in Mumbai.
