No relief from heat wave in UP

Lucknow, May 31: Weather was mainly dry over the Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours with no let-up in heat wave, the MeT office said on May 30.

According to the MeT department, day temperatures rose in Meerut division. It was appreciably above normal in Bareilly and Moradabad divisions, above normal in Agra division and normal in the remaining divisions of the state.

Highest maximum temperature 45.8 degree Celsius was recorded at Etawah The department said that weather would be mainly dry over the western UP. It said that rain or thundershower would occur at isolated places over eastern UP.
