Narendra Modi to attend crucial BJP parl board meet today

New Delhi, May 21: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will attend a crucial parliamentary board meeting of the BJP here on Tuesday. It is learnt that the meet will focus on the chalking out strategies for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. It will also discuss the strategy to corner the UPA government ahead of the Jail Bharo protests.

The demand for a separate Telangana state will also come up at the discussion.

It will be the first time that Modi will attend the board meeting. Modi was reinducted into the panel after six years.

The BJP declared its team for the next general elections on Sunday with Modi's aide Amit Shah getting the responsibility to oversee the poll preparations in the important state of Uttar Pradesh.
