2014 Poll: Narendra Modi proves Advani still crucial for BJP
New Delhi, May 21: Crucial meeting of the 12 members of Parliamentary Board of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was held in New Delhi on Tuesday, May 21. Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, who recently has been included in the highest decision making board of the party, too attended the meeting.

meeting
in
the
national
capital,
the
Gujarat
CM
met
LK
Advani
showing
why
the
veteran
leader
is
still
crucial
for
the
party.
Modi's
meeting
with
Advani
was
crucial
as
the
BJP
Parliamentary
Board
was
learnt
to
take
decisions
regarding
strategies
for
the
upcoming
Lok
Sabha
elections.
The
General
Election
is
believed
to
held
in
2014.
According to sources, the board meet would also discuss the strategy to corner the UPA government ahead of the Jail Bharo protests. The demand for a separate Telangana state will also come up at the discussion.
The BJP declared its team for the next general elections on Sunday, May 19 with Modi's aide Amit Shah getting the responsibility to oversee the poll preparations in the important state of Uttar Pradesh.
