Joyous moment turns gloomy:Truck with wedding guests collide

Kannuj, May 21: Eleven members of a marriage party were killed and 30 others got injured when a truck in which they were travelling collided head-on with a roadways bus, police said today.

The marriage party was returning from Mainpuri district in the truck when it met with an accident near Katra around 5 am, killing 11 people on the spot, they said. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital from where some of the seriously injured were referred to Kanpur.
