Female magistrate files dowry case against her husband

Morena, May 17: A female Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), posted in Joura tehsil filed an FIR today with the local police against her husband for alleged

harassment and

The complaint was filed by Judge Sarita Jataria against her husband Vikas Arya for dowry harassment and beating her for quite sometime on the issue.

This morning Vikas allegedly thrashed his wife, after which she suffered lots of injuries.

He also damaged her car and other domestic items in the house and later escaped from the spot, the police said.

Vikas is posted in the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) office at Joura.

After conducting a medical examination of the female judge, a case was registered against her husband on charges of dowry harassment and physical abuse.

Vikas is absconding and hunt is on to nab him, the police added.
