Woman injured in Apr 17 Bangalore blast discharged

Rakshitha and her friend Leesha N S were among the 16 persons injured after explosives kept on a stolen motorcycle exploded on Temple Street, just a few distance from the BJP headquarters here. Rakshitha developed Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome as a result of multiple injuries while Leesha had compound fractures in her right leg. The duo was on a break from theur CET coaching classes on the day when the blast occurred.
They were taken to K C General Hospital and after initial treatment were shifted to M S Ramaiah Hospital. Sources in the hospital said Rakshitha had undergone many surgeries and was in a better condition now. She is undergoing physiotherapy and will be undergoing follow-up treatment, they added.
