Delhi, May 14: Dentist Rajesh and Nupur Talwar got a relief for two days as the CBI trial court on Tuesday, May 14 said that the couple should approach Allahabad High Court till Friday.

The doctor couple, who urged the court to give them seven days time, had moved the Supreme Court urging the court to summon all 14 witnesses of Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case to CBI trial court.

However, the apex court on Monday slammed the Talwars for approaching it without moving to high court.

If the Talwars fail to get a stay on the lower court's order to record their statement, their statement is likely to be recorded in a special CBI court in Ghaziabad from Friday onwards.

Earlier the Talwars were cornered during the court proceedings where several sensational statements surfaced regarding the double murder case.

CBI Additional SP AGL Kaul recently had stated that his senior officials had asked him not to arrest Nupur Talwar, Aarushi's mother. Kaul, the chief of the second CBI team, said that he could not arrest Nupur despite having strong evidence against her.

Kaul's statement surfaced in the court where he also informed that Rajesh, Aarushi's father, had killed his 14-year-old daughter unintentionally and Nupur had helped him to execute the crime. Kaul, during cross-examination in a special CBI court in Ghaziabad on April 23, said Rajesh found Aarushi and Hemraj in objectionable position in Aarushi's room on the intervening night of May 15-16 in 2008.

Explaining the murder scene, the CBI official said, "There were two golf sticks lying in Hemraj's room one of which Rajesh Talwar picked up. He heard a noise from Aarushi's room. The door of the room was not locked and was just shut. He opened the door and found Aarushi and Hemraj in objectionable position on Aarushi's bed."

The dentist could not control his rage and hit on Hemraj's head with a golf stick from behind. On his second attempt to hit Hemraj, the maid moved his head. Hence, the stick hit Aarushi's forehead.

Continuing his statement, SP Kaul said, "The V or U shaped injury on Aarushi's forehead could have been caused by the use of golf stick head."

Commenting on Nupur Talwar's role in the double murder case, the official said Nupur woke up after hearing the noise in Aarushi's room. SP Kaul added, "...By that time the injured Hemraj had fallen from the bed. Both checked Aarushi's pulse and found her near-dead which scared them and they decided to kill Hemraj so no one discovers the incident."

Kaul also said after disposing Hemraj's body on the terrace, the dentist couple returned to Aarushi's room and dressed up the crime scene by arranging the bedsheet and toys.

Then the couple slit Aarushi's throat, to ensure that wounds on Hemraj and their daughter looked similar, and Nupur cleaned Aarushi's private parts, added Kaul.

14-year-old Aarushi was found dead at her Noida residence on May 16, 2008. A day later, their domestic help Hemraj's body was also found in the terrace of their house.
