Pak Poll: More tragedy with Imarn Khan, critically injured

A local spokesman for Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) -- Malik Ishtiaq was quoted as saying, "Imran Khan fell from a lifter. He has received injuries to his head and he has been taken to hospital."
Meanwhile another party spokesperson was quoted as saying, "Imran Khan is alright. He has been taken to the hospital for first aid. He will be back to address the rally very soon after getting initial treatment."
This was the second tragedy in last three days which have hit Imran Khan and his party ahead of the crucial elections which would be held in the country on Saturday, May 11.
At least three people were injured in a hand grenade attack on a meeting of Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf party in the North-west Frontier Province on May 5.
The cricketer-turned-politician had won one seat during 2002 election and had boycotted the 2008 poll. 86 million electorate would participate on Saturday's poll to elect a new national assembly and four regional assemblies.
