Karnataka SSLC results out, pass percentage up at 77.47

Bangalore: SSLC Results were declared by Karnataka Secondary Education Board at 12.30 pm on Monday and the overall pass percentage stood at 77.47 per cent. The pass percentage has seen an increase of 1.34 per cent compared to last year's 76.13.

The results of Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC), standard tenth examinations are available on www.kseeb.kar.nic.in and www.karresults.nic.in.

Students can also get results via SMS and IVRS: SMS KAR registration number and send it to 56263, SMS KAR10 registration number and send it to 58888 or SMS SSLC registration number and send it to 5600649.

A total of 8.36 lakhs students appeared for the exams.

The highest mark scored in the examinations is 622 out of 625. Chikkodi has secured first place in results with Mandya in second and Udupi district in third place.

Girls have again scored better with 82.30 pass percentage and boys pass percentage is 73.25.

The SSLC results were officially released by Kumar G Naik, Secretary, Primary and Secondary Education and Commissioner for Public Instruction SR Umashankar on Monday.
