Bollywood producer Ekta Kapoor raided in Mumbai

Mumbai, April 30: Ekta Kapoor, one of the youngest producers of Bollywood, has been raided by Income Tax (IT) department in Mumbai. The producer has been accused of evading tax.

Ekta, the chief of Balaji Telefilms, faced the wrath of IT officials on Tuesday, April 30. According to sources, a team of at least 100 officials raided Ekta's residence in Juhu, and office of Balaji Telefilms in Andheri.

Ekta, daughter of Bollywood actor Jitendra, might be grilled by the income tax officials, informed sources. The producer experienced the IT ire ahead of release of her big project -- Shootout at Wadala.
