Kolkata, April 25: Veteran Bollywood actor Mithun Chakrabory has alleged that he did not get his due payment from the Saradha chit fund organisation in West Bengal which recently collapsed robbing thousands of people of their life-long savings, said one report on Thursday.

Chakraborty was the brand ambassador for the channel owned by the Saradha Media Group and had participated in a number of programmes of the channel.

The actor said it was shocking to see the organisation duping ordinary people, adding returning the latter's money is more important than paying his dues. He said he would be happy if the company returned the money of the needy.

Chairman-cum-managing director of the group Sudipta Sen was caught along with two associates in Jammu and Kashmir where they had fled in their car and were brought back to Kolkata in transit remand on Wednesday night. The accused were produced in a Kolkata court on Thursday.

Sen had written a 18-page letter to the CBI prior to his leaving Kolkata after he sensed trouble and he has named a number of influential people who had allegedly used him to make money. A couple of MPs of the ruling Trinamool Congress in West Bengal were also named in the letter.
