Chidambaram's wife refutes Saradha CMD's charges: Sources
Sources close to Nalini Chidambaram said she was engaged by one Manoranjana Sinh to appear in a case before the company law board. According to the sources, the Saradha Group sought to invest in her client's company but Nalini Chidambaram advised her client that it would not be wise to proceed under such arrangement.
Earlier in the day, Minister of State for Home R P N Singh said all these talks were wild allegations. He said it was not right to drag someone's name into the controversy just because he or she is acting as one's lawyer. He said the conclusion should be reached only after the investigation had taken place.
