Is there a link between porn and rapes in national capital?

Google searches for the word "porn," as a proportion of total Google searches, have increased five times between 2004 and 2013 in India.
India ranked fourth worldwide, after Papua New Guinea, Trinidad and Tobago, and Pakistan.
The Supreme Court has taken up a case on whether pornography leads to sexual assault of women and should, therefore, be completely banned in India.
The pornography web sites rank among the most popular in India.
The Delhi police had admitted last month that there was a sharp jump in sex crimes reported in the capital since December.
There was a 148 percent leap in rape accusations lodged with police to 359 incidents between January 1 and March 24 this year from the same period in 2012 and a 590 percent rise in molestation reports to 794.
In 2012 there were 700 rapes reported in New Delhi, a 23 percent rise from the previous year, police said.
