Police rubbish reports about 2nd B'lore blast

, April 17: Local police rubbished reports by the local media that another blast took place at Hebbal in Bangalore on Wednesday morning.

The local media said that a number of people were injured in the second blast. The city witnessed a low-intensity blast [See here] near the BJP headquarters at Malleshwaram around 10.45 am leaving 16 people injured.

The ruling BJP said the Malleshwaram blast was carried out to target its establishment in the state. It also slammed the Congress after one of its leaders said the blast would help the BJP's chances in the next polls.
