Tamil Nadu: Van catches fire, 5 killed

Madurai, April 9: Five persons were on Tuesday charred to death when a van caught

and rammed into a roadside tree at Seethur, about 75 km from here, police said.

The five, all painters, were on their way to Rameswaram from Shengottai for some work when the mishap occurred, police said.

The exact reason for mishap is being ascertained, they said.
