SFI supporters manhandle WB finance minister in Delhi

The SFI supporters were protesting against Banerjee over the recent death of one of their colleagues, Sudipta Gupta, in police custody in Kolkata.
State finance minister Amit Mitra was manhandled by the protesters and needed the security personnel to escort him to safety. The ministers went to the national capital on Monday on a two-day trip to meet central authorities over the economic status of West Bengal.
Later, an angry Mamata called the SFI protesters hooligans and said that even she could get her supporters in Delhi to give a reply to this.
The West Bengal CM had drawn flak from various quarters after she termed the death of Gupta as a small and petty matter in Bangalore recently.
