UP: Children absconding after killing their father

), April 8: In a shocking incident, a father was killed by his own children on Monday. The incident took place in Saharanpur district.

Two sons and a daughter allegedly murdered their 55 year old father Rampal who was a former village head.

"The dead body of Rampal was found in his house yesterday. His sons Anil (23), Kuldeep (20) and a daughter Priyanka (16) are absconding after the incident," said Senior Superintendent of police Vijay Yadav.

With the clues the police have at present, they suspect that the children killed their father out of revenge because their father had murdered their mother in 2008.

In the recent times, UP's crime rate has been doubling. The most recent incident reported was an acid attack on 4 sisters who are school teachers.

A case has been registered and investigation is on.
