Deepak Bharadwaj murder: Suspect goes missing

According to reports coming in, the controversial guru has now gone missing after it has come to light that he may have been involved. A special Delhi police team has been raiding places searching for the guru.
On Tuesday (April 2) it was revealed that a sum of Rs 1 crore was paid to contract killers to eliminate the leader.
Police suspect that dispute over property might be reason behind the murder of Deepak Bharadwaj which took place on March 26. Sources said that Bharadwaj had not given his family a share in the money. "He did not keep the family in the loop about his property deals and had asked his wife and sons to return the ownership of the Dwarka-based school, Shiksha Bharati School, which they were running," said a source.
CCTV footage clearly shows the killers coming out of Bhardwaj's farmhouse after killing him and flaunting guns to scare away onlookers. Bhardwaj, the richest candidate in the 2009 Lok Sabha polls with declared assets of over Rs 600 crore, was fired upon from point blank range by three men who fled after the incident. A post-mortem examination report revealed Bharadwaj had been shot thrice, once in his head and twice in his chest.
