Shahrukh Khan
Mumbai, April 1: Bollywood yesteryear star Manoj Kumar is upset within reigning "King" of the industry Shahrukh Khan. Apparently, Khan's film "Om Shanti Om" released in 2007 has scenes spoofing at the veteran actor.

Now, Kumar is threatening Khan and Eros International, producers of the film to drag them to the court. Media reports say, Kumar is going to file a lawsuit against the producers of the film and seek a damage to the tune of Rs 100 crore.

The controversy started after the 2007 film was released in Japan recently. Kumar is miffed that the scene making fun of the actor were not removed before releasing it in the foreign shore. Earlier, Kumar has objected to the "objectionable" scenes when the film was released. The veteran actor also known as Bharat wanted the scenes to be chopped off the film.

Khan too had apologised to Kumar, but the veteran actor seems not satisfied with mere "apologies".

"The film was released in Japan without deleting those scenes. I had forgiven them twice but not this time. They have disrespected me. They also face contempt of court as in 2008 the court had asked them to forever and from all prints and broadcast material, delete those scenes," Manoj Kumar told.

"I would file civil and criminal proceedings against the producers (Shah Rukh Khan and Eros International) for seeking damages to the tune of Rs 100 crore for showing Om Shanti Om in Japan without removing objectionable scenes as ordered by Mumbai civil court in 2008", he added.

He had taken them to court earlier in 2008, where the court had asked the producers to delete the objectionable scene from all prints, and broadcast material forever.
