Facebook turns hazardous for student, sexually assaulted

, March 31: While crime rates against women are soaring in the Capital, even men are not being spared. A facebook friendship turned hazardous for an 18 year old boy. The student of Delhi University was sexually assaulted by his facebook friends in northwest Delhi.

According to the police the victim had made friends with a person and agreed to meet him in Narela around 10 am.

The victim recounted that when he reached the spot to meet his 'friend', the accused had come along with 2 others in a car. After he sat in the vehicle, he was 'allegedly sodomised by all three men, who also threatened him saying that the entire act had been filmed'.

The police officer was quoted as saying, "They then drove him back home and told him to steal his sister-in-law's gold earrings and hand them over."

A sexual assault and theft case has been registered.
