Raj polls: Congress to take out Sandesh Yatra today

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will flag off the yatra which will touch all constituencies to draw people's attention to the state government's achievements and flagship schemes. The yatra is expected to conclude by June 30.
Besides Gehlot, top Congress leaders like Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi could address some rallies during the yatra days.
The BSP has already published its first list of 29 candidates for the polls. State party leaders have said that they were not convinced that organising yatras would make any difference and wanted to tell the people that they were focusing on the Rajasthan polls with all sincerity. The BSP had won six seats in the 200-member strong assembly in 2008.
