MMS goes viral: Upset TV star Mona files police complaint

Mona Singh is upset after a

clip on her went viral on internet on Thursday, March 29. The MMS shows Mona in a nude state. The actor has called the MMS a morphed one.

Model-turned-actor Mona, known for her title role in popular television soap "Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin" has filed a complaint with the cyber crime branch of the Mumbai Police.

"I am aware about a scandalous video in circulation. At this point of time, all I can say is that this is a morphed video. I have lodged a complaint at the cyber crime branch and an investigation is on," said an upset Mona.

"No one, and I mean no one, would want this kind of cheap and disgraced publicity," added Mona, who also featured in popular Aamor Khan starrer film 3 Idiots.

Mumbai's Joint Commissioner of Police, Himanshu Roy, confirmed that the police have registered a case and are probing the matter.

Police are investigating the case and suspect hands of local elements behind the MMS clip going viral.

"We are trying to trace the IP address of the computer with the help of cyber experts," a police officer said.
