Two BSY-loyalist ministers likely to join KJP

According to sources, Nirani is expected to quit the BJP and join KJP during the party's convention at Bagalkot scheduled for March 29 while Katti is expected to join Yeddyurappa's party during a convention at Belgaum on either March 30 or 31.
Sources further said that five to six MLAs from the Mumbai-Karnataka region had also expressed their willingness to join hands with Yeddyrappa.
The possibility of Katti and Nirani to join the KJP would come as a big blow for the ruling party ahead of the assembly election of May 5. The ruling BJP has received a blow at the recent urban local polls and political analysts feel it would be an uphill task for the party to improve its performance to retain power in the southern state.
