Why Mulayam Singh slams Akhilesh post Advani's complaint

Mulayam, during a rally on Saturday, March 23, slammed Uttar Pradesh government led by his son Akhilesh. The former CM of the state claimed that Advani had called him complaining about the increasing corruption cases in the state.
"I have been told that UP ministers are not working for the state. They are only involved in their personal work. Seniority will not do, ministers have to work. I am giving ministers 5 month of time," chided Mulayam while warning the state ministers.
The SP chief also added, "Advani called me personally and told me that corruption is rising in UP. He never lies and I trust him."
Speaking about his immediate action after the BJP leader's remark on UP government, Mulayam said, "I immediately told Akhilesh. If Akhilesh destroys his image, he is not going to come back in power again."
Akhilesh, one of the most youngest chief ministers of country, won state assembly election in 2011 defeating Mayawati-led Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP).
Recently, the state government faced stern criticism following several corruption cases. A minister of his cabinet - Raja Bhaiya was forced to resign from his post over his alleged role in a murder case of DSP. Akhilesh had tried to save the government's image after allowing a CBI probe into the murder case.
