Engg student poisoned by seniors battles for life

Gurgaon, March 20: In a shocking incident where a first year student, Tula Ram, whose seniors allegedly poisoned him and beat him up is battling for life at a local hospital.

According to reports, Ram was to take his Maths exam when the incident occured at Gurgaon College of Engineering. During break time he was found 'unconscious in the park outside the college campus with foam coming out of his mouth'.

The family alleged that Ram is in a bad state after securing 7 injuries. They also said that the police arrived late to the spot.

The college management who rushed him to Sunrise Hospital, Gurgaon, where he is on ventilator. He is said to be in a critical condition.

"He will be on observation for 48 hours. He could have been poisoned," said an official at the hospital.
His friends said that the seniors were are responsible for what happened. However, the management is yet to take any action.

The Gurgaon Police who are looking into the case are waiting for the victim to gain consciousness.
