Highlights of Union Budget for 2013-14

Here are the other highlights of the budget:
- Capital infusion of Rs 12,570 crore in 13 public sector banks during 2012-13; another Rs 14,000 crore for capital infusion in 2013-14 to meet Basel-3 norms
- First exclusive public sector bank for women to be opened by October; Rs 1,000 crore allocated as initial capital
- All public sector bank branches to have ATMs
- Act to strengthen SEBI in its silver jubilee year under consideration
- Ambiguity between FDI and FII to be removed
- Two new ports to be set up in West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh to add 100 million tonnes handling capacity
