Hyderabad: Akbaruddin Owaisi hospitalised

Owaisi has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday, Feb 26. According to sources, the MIM leader had gone to attend court hearing in Nizamabad district where he had complained of chest pain.
Owaisi, who was taken to the court on a wheel-chair, was rushed to the hospital in Jubilee Hills in the city. According to hospital sources, Owaisi was kept in ICCU unit and has gone through several tests such as CT scan, ultra sound and blood tests.
Owaisi's personal physician, Dr Mazharuddin Ali Khan was quoted as saying, "His condition is stable though there is severe pain."
The MIM leader was arrested over his alleged hate speech in which he was quoted as saying, "We (Muslims) are 25 crores, you are 100 crores (Hindus). You are so much more mumerous. But just remove the police for 15 minutes and we will show who are the brave ones. Who is stronger."
