However, comments which follow inlcude, Anil Kumar " Buses are running as usual", Arunraj Appatt said "Dear BTP, this is not a Bharath Bandh.... it is only trade union strike. They are not forcing anyone to not work or stay off roads.. Kudos to Bangalore public for getting on with their normal life!"

Even BTP later said that there are a couple of buses plying.
Trade unions participating in the strike include Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), All India United Trade Union Centre (AIUTUC), Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) among others.
