Raj Thackeray rules out merger with Shiv Sena

The MNS chief said there were a lot of talks in the media about a probable merger between the two Senas but there was no such possibility. He said he had started his MNS alone and never invited anybody to join him and he stood by his decision even today. "I want to go it alone and win the state on my own," he said.
Raj also rubbished the theory that it was because of the MNS that Marathi votes were getting defeated. He said his party is targetted whenever any Shiv Sena candidate loses an election which is not right. The MNS chief said he didn't need any alliance with anybody and would win the state by himself if the people were with him.
Uddhav had said during his interview with Saamna that anybody who genuinely wanted to join the Shiv Sena would be welcome to do so. When asked if the two Senas would come together, Uddhav said the question should be replied to by both him and Raj.
The MNS chief, who praised Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi a, said he had a clear agenda and wanted to go ahead with it. He said he wanted to develop Maharashtra on the lines of Modi's Gujarat.
