Why Guru, an avid reader, was keen to read LK Advani's book

As per jail officials, Guru, who was hanged on Saturday, Feb 9 was an avid reader and writer. He was very much keen to read Advani's book to know what was written about him.
"He only asked for books... on one occasion, he wanted to know what Advani had written about him. He loved reading Urdu poetry... He also asked for Maulana Abul Kalam Azad's India Wins Freedom," said a jail official.
