Oneindia's Dr Shankar gets Edison Best Online Journo award
Chennai, Feb 11: Dr S Shankar, from Oneindia's Tamil team has received award for his outstanding online journalism in 6th the annual Edison Awards 2013.
Malaysian MP Mohammad Bin Quadir was presented this honour to Dr Shankar on Sunday evening in a colourful mega event held at Lady Aandal School, Chetpet.
Cheyyar Balu from Dinamalar has received the best journalist in print media award.
The event was well organised by J Selvakumar, founder and president of Edison awards and attended by the who's who of the film Industry and Malaysia.
Shankar, a Ph.D, holder in Economics from Madras University School of Economics has served in media for the past 19 years.
