CWG back to haunt India: What charges framed against Kalmadi

Kalmadi, who was sacked as CWG Organising Committee (OC) following several allegations against him, was accused of cheating, conspiring and causing a loss of over Rs 90 crore to the exchequer during the Games which were held in New Delhi in Oct 2010.
Kalmadi along with many others allegedly had awarded "illegal" contracts to install the timing, scoring and results (TSR) system for the 2010 games to a firm named Swiss Timing at inflated rates.
What are the charges framed against Kalmadi:
A Delhi court earlier had said that CBI would file charges under various provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Prevention of Corruption (PC) Act. The charges are -
120B (criminal conspiracy)
201 (destruction of evidence)
420 (cheating), 467, 468, 471 (relating to forgery),
506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC and section 13(1)(d) read with section 13(2) (criminal misconduct by public servants)
Other accused who along with Kalmadi have been charged:
Kalmadi, who is also an MP from Pune, was not alone in facing CBI wrath. Nine other persons, who had held crucial positions in the CWG OC, also have been charged. The other accused are -
CWG OC secretary general Lalit Bhanot,
CWG OC director general VK Verma,
CWG OC director general (Procurement) Surjit Lal,
CWG OC joint director general (Sports) ASV Prasad
CWG OC treasurer M Jayachandran
The Delhi court earlier also had informed that six other members of the OC misused their official positions, the CBI told the court.
The Swiss firm that benefited from the illegally awarded contract has been named as accused in the scam along with two construction companies Gem International and AKR Constructions. The promoters of both Gem and AKR have also been charge-sheeted.
What action(s) will be taken against Lalit Bhanot?
Lalit Bhanot, another prime accused of the CWG 2010 scam, was arrested and had spent a year behind bar. He was released from jail after getting bail. Despite such severe allegations against him, Lalit Bhanot's sudden promotion as the boss of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) had surprised the nation.
Now, with CBI court framing charges against him, here raises the question - will Bhanot face any action, will he be sacked as the chief of IOA?
