BJP President: RSS spoils Advani's dream against Gadkari

According to sources, RSS has made it clear that it will not support any other candidate for president. Advani reported to have proposed Sushma Swaraj and Narendra Modi's names for the post.
The election for president of the party is likely to be notified on Monday, Jan 21. Advani's proposal against re-electing Gadkari for the presidential post was an attempt to present BJP a corruption-free political party.
Gadkari recently has faced several corruption allegations regarding his deals with different business organisations. Gadkari, who is not a member of parliament, also suggested that he may contest the Lok Sabha election 2014 from his home turf of Nagpur.
