AAP to expose Delhi power, water scams from Feb 1

Bhopal, Jan 17: Anti-corruption activist-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal's political outfit, the Aam Admi Party (AAP), will start its string of exposes this year from Feb 1. The party will expose scams related to electricity and water supply in Delhi this time.

Kejriwal said this at a press meeting here on Wednesday after putting in place a 9-member state-level working committee and 33 district committees during a day-long convention of the party. Nearly 400 delegates from across 50 districts of Madhya Pradesh were present on the occasion. Kejriwal was accompanied by Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh.

Will the AAP expose scams in Madhya Pradesh? To this, Kejriwal said the party's state executive body would start doing that soon. He said they would, meanwhile, expose electricity and water scams in the national capital from Feb 1.

When asked whether the AAP would participate in this year's Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, the party leader said the decision on that would be taken later.
