"If you are expecting a light-hearted comment, I tell you this: I know that some of you think I am foolish. But I am not so foolish as you think," the senior Congress leader told journalists.

When asked to respond to Karunanidhi's remarks, Chidambaram said he knew his limitations and conducted himself as per the limitations. The DMK chief had on Saturday backed actor Kamal Hassan's suggestions that Chidambaram was a potential PM candidate.
