Another shocker from Delhi: Now, 42-year-old woman gangraped
The woman, who hails from Jodhpur, was allegedly raped in South Delhi and was later dumped at Kalkaji. According to sources, the woman later called her friend and lodged a report in a nearby police station.
Police have registered a case on Wednesday, Dec 26 after her medical examination confirmed rape.
Delhi police may land in another trouble as they are yet to trace the accused. The police have been facing stern criticism since six men raped a 23-year-old girl on a moving bus. This incident enraged the nation. Protests were held at different places of the country, especially in Delhi.
After a continuous protest for two-three days, the protest turned violent in the national capital. Police and protesters clashed leaving many people injured. Police constable Subhash Chand Tomar, who was allegedly beaten by eight agitators, died. However, doctors and eyewitnesses claimed that he suffered a cardiac arrest and was not attacked by any protester.
The 23-year-old victim, who has been shifted to Singapore for further treatment, suffered massive internal injuries. Her health fluctuated often since then. Several operation have been performed on her and surgeons have removed her gangrenous small intestine.
