Pics: How Govt tried to stop protest over Delhi Gangrape
New Delhi, Dec 23: Tear gas, water canons are proved to be failed weapons which could not help Delhi police in dispersing the crowd which held a massive protest at India Gate and Raisina Hill on Saturday, Dec 22.
The young India showed that a new path of movement has been started where lacks of protesters can shake the government without help of any leader or political power. The recent infamous gangrape in the city enraged every Indian who now demand for justice for the 23-year-old victim.
Delhi police used tear gas, water canons, lathicharged the protesters and at last evacuated all protest venues such as India Gate, Raisina Hill, Vijay Chawk. Despite massive police crack down, protesters again returned to those places breaking all barricades.
