Mumbai, Dec 21: After Jaya Bachchan, the Bollywood actor and Samajwadi Party (SP) MP, who broke down in the Rajya Sabha while condemning the brutal assault and rape of a 23-year-old medical student in New Delhi, will it be the turn of her husband and Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan to raise a voice against the horrific incident that has shaken the entire country over the past week?

A protest march against the Delhi rape case will be held at Joggers Park in Carter Road in Mumbai from 6 pm onwards on Saturday and the senior Bachchan was invited over tweeter to join the cause. He was also asked to retweet his experience so that the appeal reaches out to a bigger medium through him.

The rape incident of Dec 17 has caused a huge uproar across the nation. The political class, civil society, media, film world, administration and police have all been stirred up and demands for strict punishment for perpetrators of such crime have become intense.
